The A.P. Public Service Commission came into existence on 1 st November, 1956 with the formation of the State of Andhra Pradesh . Before this, there was Andhra Public Service Commission in the Andhra State and Hyderabad Public Service Commission in the Hyderabad State . Andhra Service Commission came into existence only in 1953 after the bifurcation of composite Madras State into Andhra and Madras States .
On the eve of formation of Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission, Andhra Public Service Commission was functioning with a Chairman and two Members and Hyderabad Public Service Commission was functioning with one Member. Hence, A.P. Public Service Commission was constituted with a Chairman and 3 Members. With increasing work load, Government enhanced the strength of the Commission to Chairman and 5 Members in the year 1981 and later to Chairman and 7 Members in the year 1983. Government again reviewed the strength in 1994 and enhanced it to Chairman and 9 Members. This is the present strength also.
Assistant Executive Engineers (Civil) in RWS & S Engineering Service.Educational Qualification : Must possess a Degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical) from any University in Indian established or incorporated by or under Central Act, Provincial Act or a State Act or an institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or pass in Sec. A and B of AMIE examination conducted by
Institute of Engineer in Civil or Mechanical or AMIE and B.SC (Engg.) of Ranchi University or an equivalent qualification.
Assistant Executive Engineers (Civil / Mechanical)in Public Health and Municipal Engineering Service.
Educational Qualification : Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree B.E. Civil or Mechanical Engineering or B.Sc (Engineering) Degree of Benaras Hindu University or a Pass in Section ‘A’ and ‘B’ of AMIE (India)
Examination as prescribed in APPH & MESS rules.
Senior Architectural Assistant (AEE CADRE) Architectural Engineering Branch in R & B Engineering Service.
Educational Qualification : i) Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural awarded by an University in India established or incorporated by or under Central Act, Provincial Act or a State Act or an institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or an equivalent qualification and must have 3 years practical experience as Architect in a firm of architects in India.
ii) Must be a member of the Indian Institute of Architects or the Council of Architects (incorporated under the Architects Act, 1972) with 3 years practical experience. AND
iii) Must possess a National Diploma in Architecture awarded by the All India Council for Technical Education or any other equivalent qualification and must have served as a practicing Architect in India or Assistant Architect in a firm of Architects in India for atleast 5 years.
Salary : 16150/- to 42,590/-
Start Date : 24/04/2012
Last Date : 23/05/2012
21/05/2012 is the last date for payment of fee.
The Written Examination will be held on 01/07/2012.
