Organisation Description :
Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUN) has been entrusted with the job of development of power projects under state sector, in the state along with operation & maintenance of state owned power stations. Government of Rajasthan constituted the Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd. (RVUN) under Companies Act-1956 on 19th July, 2000. The Nigam is since playing lead role in giving highest priority to the power generation for manifold and rapid development of the state.

The generating Stations of RVUN have acquired a distinctive reputation in the country for their efficient and economic power generation.


Job Role : Technician-III/ Plant Attendant-III/ Hydel Operator-III


Educational Qualification (As on 13/05/2012) :

On the date of Written Competitive Exam i.e 13.5.2012  the applicant  should possesses qualification
of  Secondary  from RBSE/  CBSE  or  any other equivalent Board along with ITI (NCVT/ SCVT)/  NAC  or equivalent qualification. 

A candidate can apply in one of the following four  “Groups”  based on  his  ‘Trade  in  ITI (NCVT/SCVT)/ NAC’ qualification, if he/ she possesses the requisite qualification in one of the identified  Trades, as  mentioned  against each Group :-

(i)  Group-I   :    Electrician/   Power Electricians/ Wireman    

(ii)  Group-II   :     Electronics/  Computer

(iii) Group-III :     Boiler Attendant/ Steam Turbine Operator 

(iv) Group-IV  :       Welder/ Fitter


Pay scale : PB2 (5200-20200)  + Grade Pay 1850
