Organisation Description :

A circuit bench of the Patna High Court was established at Ranchi with effect from 6th March, 1972 under clause 36 of the Letter Patent of that High Court. The bench was established to meet the needs of the Adivasi Population of the Chota Nagpur area in erthswhile State of Bihar.

The Circuit bench was made Permanent Bench of Patna High Court, by Act no. 57 of 1976, by High Court at Patna(Establishment of Permanent Bench AT Ranchi) Act 1976 with effect from 8th April 1976.

The Jharkhand High Court came into existence after reorganiszation of state of Bihar in existing state of Bihar and Jharkhand on 15th November 2000.

Job Role :

1. Personal Assistants ( PA ) in High Court of Jharkhand

Salary - 9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4600/-

Age - 18-35 years

2. Hindi And English Stenographer in Civil Courts of State of Jharkhand

Salary - 5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs 2400/-

Age - 18-35 years

3. Stenographer for CBI courts for CBI courts at Ranchi and Dhanbad

Salary - 5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs 2400/-

Age - 18-35 years

Educational Qualification :
1. Graduate from recognized University having proficiency in (English or Hindi) Shorthand and Typing. The Speed of English Shorthand and Typing should not be less than 80 and 40 w.p.m., respectively with permissible mistake of 10% and speed of Hindi Shorthand and Typing should not be less than 70 and 35 w.p.m., respectively with permissible mistake of 10%.

2. Candidates must be well acquainted with Computer Application and typing on computers

3. The candidates should possess sound health, good moral character and should bot be involved in or related to any criminal case or any type involving moral turpitude.

4. The candidates must be above 18 years of ages as on 1st day of April, 2011 but not more than the age of 35 years in case of General Category, 37 years in case of E.B.C & B.C. Category, 38 years in case of Female (General, E.B.C & B.C.) and 40 years in case of S.C/S.T Category
