Organisation Description :

Madhya Bihar Gramin Bank Sponsored by Punjab National Bank was established under Regional Rural Bank Act, 1976 and by Govt. of India, Ministry of Finance, Economic affairs and Banking Division notification no. F. No. 1(1) 2006-RRB dated 10.02.2006 by amalgamating four RRBs viz. Bhojpur Rohtas Gramin Bank, Magadh Gramin Bank, Nalanda Gramin Bank and Patliputra Gramin Bank. The bank is categorized under scheduled banks and is authorized for all types of banking business under section 5(B) of Banking Regulation Act 1949. As per RBI notification vide their letter no RPCD. CO. RRB. NO. BC. 77/03 .05 100 /2008-09 dt.17.12.2008 the name of MBGB has been included in the Second Schedule to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 by notification RPCD. CO. RRB. NO. 3231/ 03.05 100/ 2008-09 dated 22.09.2008 published in the Gazette of India (Part III – Sec .4) dated 15.11.2008. Simultaneously the names of erstwhile RRBs have been excluded from the Second Schedule to the RBI Act, 1934. 

The bank is rendering its services to meet all the banking requirements of the rural and urban areas. In the light of the changed scenario in the banking sector, the bank is also providing its services to non target group beneficiaries along with the target group beneficiaries.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION ( As on 01.04.2011)  : 

I)  POST CODE-01 OFFICER SENIOR MANAGEMENT SCALE-III – 

•  Degree  from  a  recognised  University  with  the  related  subject  or  its  equivalent  with  a
minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

•  For Credit Officer – The candidates having degree/diploma in Banking & Finance.
For  Marketing/Wealth  Management  Officer  –  The  candidates  having  degree/diploma  in
Marketing/Finance/Banking.

For Chartered Accountant – The candidate should be qualified Chartered Accountant.

•  Experience : Minimum 5 years experience as an Officer in any Bank or Financial
Institutions in the respective field.

 
II)   POST CODE-02 OFFICER MIDDLE MANAGEMENT SCALE-II – 

(I) Security Officer:

•  Degree from a recognised University in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in
aggregate.

•  Desirable Experience : Commissioned Officers not below the rank of CAPTAIN in Army
or its equivalent in Navy/Air Force who have rendered at least five years military service
including  ECOs/SSCOs.  Officers  of  the  paramilitary  forces  equivalent  to  the  rank  of
Captain  or  above  may  be  considered  in  the  event  of non  availability  of  suitable  defence
commissioned officer.

(II) IT Officer:

•  Degree from a recognised University in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science
/ Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

•  Desirable Experience :
Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc.
Experience : One year in Bank/Financial Institution.

(III) Credit Officer:

•  Degree  from  a  recognised  University  in  Banking  &  Finance    with  a  minimum  of  50%
marks in aggregate.

•  Experience :  Two  years  as  an  officer  in  Bank  or  Financial  Institution  in  Credit
Department in related field.

(IV) (A) Technical Field Officer (Mechanical) 

•  BE/B. Tech (Mechanical) or equivalent.

•  One Experience in the field desirable.

•  Job Profile: Techno-economy feasibility studies of industrial projects including
infrastructural projects and other credit/expansion activities etc.
 
(B) Technical Field Officer (Civil)

•  BE/B. Tech (Civil) or equivalent.

•  One Experience in the field desirable.

•  Job Profile: Evaluation of Housing Projects, entering into tie-up with builders/developers,
independent valuation etc.

(V) Law Officer
•  Degree  from  a  recognised  University  in  Law  or  its  equivalent  with  a  minimum  of  50% marks in aggregate.

•  Experience- Two  years  as  an  advocate  or  should  have  worked  as  Law  Officer  in  Banks  or  Financial Institutions for a period not less than two years.

(VI) Personnel Officer
•  MBA  in  HR  or  Master  Degree  in  social  work  (Personnel  Management  &  Labour  Law). Preference will be given to candidates having degree in Law. 

•  Experience- Two years in Personnel Management.

(VII) General Banking Officer:
•  Degree from a recognized University in any discipline or its equivalent with a minimum of
50% marks in aggregate. 

•  Preference  will  be  given  to  the  candidates  having  degree/diploma  in  Banking,  Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science,  Agricultural  Engineering,  Pisciculture,  Information  Technology,  Management,  Law, Economics, Commerce and Accountancy.

•  Experience: Two years as an officer in Bank or Financial Institution. 

III)  POST CODE -03 OFFICER JUNIOR MANAGEMENT SCALE-I 

(I) Agricultural Officer
•  Degree from a recognized University in any discipline in Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy,
Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture or
its equivalent, with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

(II) Marketing Officer
•  MBA in Marketing/Finance from any Institute or repute.

 (II) General Bank Officer
•  Bachelor degree of a recognized university in any discipline or its equivalent.

•  Preference  will  be  given  to  the  candidates  having  degree  in  Agriculture,  Horticulture,
Forestry,  Animal  Husbandry,  Veterinary  Science,  Agricultural  Engineering,  Pisciculture,
Agricultural  Marketing  and  Cooperation,  Information  Technology,  Management,  Law,
Economics and Accountancy;

•  Proficiency in local language.

•  Computer knowledge or awareness will be an added qualification.


IV)  POST CODE- 04 OFFICE ASSISTANT(MULTIPURPOSE)
         
1.  Bachelor Degree or its equivalent of a recognized university in any discipline.

2.  (a) Essential: Profiency in local language (b) Desirable: Knowledge of computer skills
