Organization Description : It is from India, and is more than 5,000 years that Ayurveda has evolved. "Ayur" means life and "Ved" means knowledge. This holistic science is the knowledge of complete balance of the Body, Mind and spirit, including the emotions and psychology, on all levels. It includes in its consideration, longevity, rejuvenation and self-realization therapies through herbs, diet, exercise, yoga, massage, aromas, tantras, mantras, and meditation. According to Ayurvedic tradition health is the balance of elements air, earth, fire, and water-and illness is as excess or deficiency of any particular element. Ayurveda treats illness at its source, rather than at the level of symptoms, and helps an in individual to take responsibility for their own health and well-being.

Job Introduction : Department of Ayurveda, Himachal Pradesh is Recruiting Ayurvedic Medical Officers on batch wise in contract basis. Job Role : AYURVEDIC MEDICAL OFFICERS ON  BATCH  WISE  CONTRACT BASIS.

Educational Qualification : 
i) Matric or equivalent recognized by H.P.  Board/University.
ii)  Recognized degree in Ayurveda of not less than 05 years duration from a recognized Univesity/Board established by law or inst itution recognized by the Central/State Govt. /CCIM.
iii) Compulsory Rotatory Internship wherever required by the Central Council of Indian Medicine.
Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of customs/manner and dialects of H.P. and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.

Job Location : Himachal Pradesh.




Pay scale : On contract basis with fixed contractual emoluments of Rs.15,300/-P.M.

Last Date : 11.4.2012 i n   case of general areas. 18.4.2012 in case of Tribal areas. –  L&S,  Pangi,Bharmour of Chamba,Kinnaur& Dodra Kwar of Distt. Shimla.
