The institute has on its staff highly qualified and experienced scientists working in the field of Biological, biochemical, Chemical and Physical sciences placed in long established departments of Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Biophysics, and the research sections on plant Molecular & Cellular Genetics, Animal Physiology, Immunotechnology and Environmental science. A  Central  Autonomous  Institute  funded  by  the  Department  of  Science  & Technology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.



A Walk-in-Interview will be held on Tuesday, the 20th March 2012 at 11.30 am in the Committee Room of the Centenary Building of Bose Institute at P-1/12, CIT Scheme VII-M, Kolkata- 700054, for a purely temporary and contractual appointment of a Civil Engineer, having requisite qualification, knowledge of PWD/CPWD Work manual and working experience as stated hereunder initially for a period of one year, likely to be renewed.  

Job Role : Civil Engineer.

Educational Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering from any recognized university.

Desirable Qualification :  Minimum 15-20 years of experience, out of which minimum 5 years should be at the level of Executive Engineer and above. Recently retired personnel  from  CPWD/PWD/MES/Railways/  Public  Works  Organization  are preferable.

Job description : Selected candidate is required to implement construction projects of different magnitude, Civil maintenance works including water Supply, plumbing, sanitary and other allied works, finalization of  Plan/ Drawings/Estimates/Claim bills etc, obtaining approval, Certification of  Bills etc.

Job Location : Kolkata.

Pay scale : 3 To 15 Lakh.
