Baba Atomic Research Center (BARC)

Applications are invited for one year Apprenticeship Training for the  following disciplines as per the Provisions of Apprentices Act 1961 in BARC, Mumbai.

 

 Country : India.

State/Provision :  Maharastra.

City : Mumbai

Job Role :

1.Dip. in Mechanical Engg. - 8

2.Dip. in Automobile Engg. - 2

 3.Med. Lab Technician - 4

4.X-ray Technician - 2

5.Opthalmic Technician - 2

Number of Vacancies : 18

Education Qualification :

Dip. in Mechanical Engg : Dip. in Mechanical Engg. (from Board of Technical Education of a State) with not less than 50% marks.

Dip. in Automobile Engg : Dip. in Automobile Engg. (from  Board of Technical Education of a State) with not less than 50% marks.

Med. Lab Technician, X-ray Technician, Opthalmic Technician : Respective vocational course certificates in 10+2 (vocational) schooling.

Age Limit : Not less than 18 years.

Organization Description : India is poised to realise, over the next few decades, the full potential of nuclear power to substantially contribute to meet the country's growing energy requirements. The academia and students have an important role in informed debates on policy-making on the sustainability of our future growth. BARC has embarked on a public awareness programme to reach out to academic and R&D institutes.

Candidates who have already undergone apprentice training elsewhere shall not be considered.

Stipend During Training :  Sl.No. 1 & 2 :   Rs. 2530/-p.m.,   Sl.No. 3 to 5 :   Rs.1970/-p.m.  

Selection : In case the response is more, the  selection will be restricted to those with high percentage of marks in SSC, plus vocatio nal course certificate  and Diploma as assessed suitable and candidates who have recently completed the course.

During the training no accommodation will be provided by this Center.  Apprentices have to make their own arrangements for their stay in Mumbai.

After completion of the training course, the apprenticeship will be terminated and there will be no obligation on BARC to offer employment.
