Number of Vacancies : 17.

Education Qualification : Post Diploma in Town and Country Planning awarded by the Government of Tamil Nadu. 
OR
Diploma in Civil Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training with Experience in the field of Civil Engineering  for not less than 3 Years.
OR
Diploma in Architectural Assistant ship awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training with Experience in the field of Civil Engineering  for not less than 3 Years.
OR
Any other Qualification Equivalent to the qualifications with Experience in the field of Civil Engineering  for not less than 3 Years.

 Note:
 (i)  The Diploma qualification prescribed should have been obtained after passing the SSLC.
(ii)  The  Post  Diploma  qualification  prescribed  should  have  been  obtained  after  passing  the SSLC and Diploma.


Age Limit : as on  01.07.2012 for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and DWs of all Castes Minimum 18 years and Maximum 35 years. For Others Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years.


Pay Scale : Rs.5200/- to Rs.20,200/- (PB2) + 2800/- Grade Pay.
