Education Qualification :
For candidates from Academic Institutions : Ph.D. Degree, Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree with first division or equivalent CGPA in the relevant branch of Engineering & Technology/Architecture and Planning. For candidates from Industry/Profession : Ph.D. Degree , Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees with first division or equivalent CGPA in the relevant branch of Engineering & Technology/Architecture and Planning. Significant Professional work should have been done which can be recognized as equivalent to Ph.D.* Degree (*to be recommended unanimously by a committee of subject expert). In cases of candidates without Ph.D., the selection shall be done on contract basis and they shall be required to co mplete Ph.D. within 05 years of joining.
Science and Humanities :
For candidates from Academic Institutions : Ph.D. Degree, Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree with first division or equivalent CGPA in the relevant subject.
Management : Ph.D. Degree, with fi rst division or equivalent CGPA at Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject. (a) The age relaxation for SC/ST candidates is upto 5 years in respect of vacancies reserved for them, and 3 years for OBC candidates . Th e candidates are required to produce a caste /category certificate only in the prescribed format provided in these instructions. The same has to be produced at the ti me of interview, if shortlisted .
(b) Persons with disabilities (PWD) , as indicated against various item(s) in the VACANCY DETAILS, can apply to the respective posts. Persons suffering from not less than 40% of relevant disability shall alone be eligible for the benefit of reservation and other relaxations as permissible under the rules.
