Job Role :
1.Commercial Apprentice  
Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800 GP 4200
Education Qualification : Degree from recognized University  or its equivalent. Diploma in Rail Transport and Management from the Institute of Rail Transport will be an additional desirable qualification.

2.Traffic Apprentice
 

Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800 GP 4200  
Education Qualification : Degree from recognized University  or its equivalent. Diploma in Rail Transport and Management from the Institute of Rail Transport will be an additional desirable qualification.

3.ECRC
 

Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 GP 2800 
Education Qualification : Degree from recognized University  or its equivalent. 

4.Goods Guard
 

Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 GP 2800 
Education Qualification : Degree from recognized University or its equivalent.

5.Jr. Accounts Assistant cum Typist
 

Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 GP 2800  
Education Qualification : Degree from recognized University or its equivalent.
Preference being given to persons with I & II Divisions ,Honours & Master Degree. Typing proficiency in English/Hindi on Computer/Typewriter is essential.

6.Sr. Clerk cum Typist
 

Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 GP 2800  
Education Qualification : Degree from recognized University or its equivalent. Typing proficiency in English/Hindi on Computer/Typewriter is essential.

7.Assistant Station Master 
 

Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 GP 2800  
Education Qualification : Degree from recognized University or equivalent. Diploma in Rail Transport & Management, Transport Economics, Multimodal Transport (Containerization ) awarded by Institute of Rail Transport, Rail Bhawan, New Delhi will be additional desirable qualification.  

8.Traffic Assistant
 

Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 GP 2000  
Education Qualification : Degree from recognized University or equivalent. Diploma in Rail Transport & Management, Transport Economics, Multimodal Transport (Containerization ) awarded by Institute of Rail Transport, Rail Bhawan, New Delhi will be additional desirable qualification.   

Age Limit : 18 to 33 years.

Organization Description :  First time in July 1942, as an experimental measure, a Service Commission with a Chairman and two members was established for recruitment of Subordinate Staff on the then North West Railway. The position was reviewed in 1945 and Services Commissions at Bombay, Calcutta, Madras and Lucknow were set up under Railway Board. These Commissions were introduced with two fold functions of recruiting class III staff and also tender advice to General Managers for dealing with appeals from subordinate staff on disciplinary matters.


Vision of Organization : These recruitment boards have been set up based on the policies evolved over a period of time to achieve the following objectives: To rationalize the work load on existing RRBs.


Mission of Organization : To Expedite selection process. To bring the recruitment agencies nearer to the candidates in the far flung areas and interior sides. To conduct recruitment on all India basis.
