TCIL requires qualified and experienced Candidates holding valid Indian Passport for the following post on contract basis:
Job Role : Contract Engineers.
Number of Vacancies : 19 Vacancies.
Contract Period : 1 year initially which is extendable as per the requirement of project.
Education Qualification : B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electronics & Communications/ Computer Science/Information Technology with atleast 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized Institute/University.
Experience : Minimum 1 year post qualification experience in the following fields:
- Networking with good understanding of Computer Hardware, networking concepts.
- Audio/Video equipment and the related equipment used in studio setup such as video conferencing equipment, mixer, speakers, audio-video, streaming, recording, non-linear editing, etc.
- VSAT Experience.
Age Limit : Maximum 35 years as on 01.05.2012
Pay Scale : In India : Rs. 20,000/- p.m, On Foreign Posting (in Africa): Rs. 56,000/- p.m. for Graduate Engineers subject to deduction of Income Tax. (NRI candidate, tax is exempted)

Job Profile :
The candidate shall be required to :
- “Look for business opportunity for TCIL in close coordination with PD/TCILHQ”
- Install, test and maintain the modem, switch, etc.
- Install, test and maintain the studio equipments like Camera, audio-video mixer, video scanner, projector, microphone, etc.
- Interact with the clients, provide necessary inputs for Tele-education/ Tele-medicine operations. Operation & maintenance of equipment including assistance support to the Operation & maintenance team at Data Centre.
- Monitor Performance of equipment and network on daily basis and maintain necessary reports.
- Coordinate with vendors team for rectification of equipments.
- Diagnose the problems in network equipments.
- Carry out acceptance testing as per the laid down procedure.
- Manage doctors and teachers for successfully delivering the Tele-Education and Tele-Medicine Sessions.
- Maintain all records pertaining to site equipments.
- Coordinate with data-center for various requirement of functioning of the network and services.
