Information Technology -  Algorithms, Operating Systems & Compiler Design, Networking, Discrete Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering, Real-Time Systems, Simulation & Modeling, Computer Architecture & System Software. 

Electronics – Digital Design, Instrumentation & Control, Device  & Circuit Modeling, Mixed Signal VLSI Design, RF (Circuit & VLSI) Design & MEMS, Biomedical Instrumentation. 

Management & Cyber Laws –  IT & Operation Management, IT & Finan ce, Cyber law & IT Act, Information Security,  Finance,  Operations, General Management (IT), Cyber Laws and IT Act. 

Others- Bioinformatics & Biomedical Engineering-Genetics, Anatomy & Physiology, Micro-Biology, Chemical Biology.

Education Qualification : Ph.D. with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades, etc.) at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch, with a ve ry good academic record throughout.

Experience : 

For Professor - 10 years teaching/research/industrial experience  of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor. 

For Associate Professor - 8 years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor. 

For Assistant Professor - 3 years teaching/research/industrial experience. 

Pay Scale : MHRD is actively considering the pay scale of faculty of IIITs as equivalent to that of IITs as available under Six Pay Commission Report. In case it is approved faculty will get grade pay equivalent to faculty of IITs otherwise that of existing ones as available to faculty of IIIT’s.
