Education Qualification : 

1.A Five and half years degree in Ayurveda from a University established by law or a statutory Board or Examining body of Indian Medicine or its euivalent as recognized under Indian Medicine Central Council Act 1970.
2.Knowledge of Bengali Spoken and Written.

Desirable :
1.A Post Graduate qualification in Ayurveda from a recognized University.
2.Six months experience as House Staff in a recognized Ayurvedic Institution or Hospitals OR Five years experience as a Registered Ayurvedic Practitioner.

Age Limit : Not more than 50 years as on 01.01.2012.

Pay Scale : Rs.15,600/- to Rs.42,000/- + Grade Pay Rs.5,400/- Initial Band Pay + Grade Pay and Admissible other allowances excluding NPA (Consolidated).
