Indian Army has released a notification inviting Law Graduates for
grant of Short Service Commission for Judge Advocate General Department.
Interested Law Graduates may send their applications for admission in
the course on or before 12-10-2012. Other details like age limit,
educational qualification, application fee details, selection process
and how to apply are given below…
Indian Army Vacancy Details:
Names of Course: SSC JAG Entry Scheme
Total Number of Vacancies:
Men – 07
Women – 03 vacancies
Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be more than 21 years and less than 27 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess LLB with minimum 55% marks and they must be eligible for registration with Bar Council of India/State.
Selection Process:
Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for first stage of selection,
which includes Group Test, Psychological Test and Interview. Those who
qualify in first stage will have to appear for stage two which includes
psychological aptitude test followed by document verification and
medical examination.
How to Apply: Candidates need to download application
format available in the notification, fill it with all mandatory
details, attach photograph, attest signature, super scribe ‘Application
for Short Service Commission (NT) Men and Women Course – Apr 2013 for
Judge Advocate Generals Department’ on the envelope and send it along
with copies of all relevant certificates, to the following address,
