Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP)
Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) under the Ministry of Home Affairs,
Govt. of India invites applications from male & female Indian
citizens for filling up 516 Assistant Sub-Inspector and Head Constable
Vacancies.
Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format
on or before 14-12-2012.

ITBP Vacancy Details:
Total No of Vacancies: 516
1. Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer): 106 posts
2. Head Constable (Education & Stress Councellor): 255 posts
3. Head Constable (Combatant Ministerial) (Direct Entry): 130 posts
4. Head Constable (Combatant Ministerial) (LDE): 25 posts
Age Limit: Candidate
age must be between 20 to 25 for HC (ESC) post and 18 to 25 years for
all remaining posts. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be
14-12-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per rules).
Educational Qualification:
Candidate must possess Degree from a recognized University or
equivalent with Psychology as a subject or Degree from a recognized
University with Bachelor of Education/Bachelor of Teaching or equivalent
for HC (ESC) post and Intermediate or Senior Secondary School
Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University or
equivalent for all remaining posts.
Application Fee Details:
General and OBC category need to pay Rs. 50/- in the form of Central
Recruitment Fee Stamp (CRFS)/ IPO/Bank Draft in favour of “Deputy
Inspector General (Delhi), I.T.B. Police, Payable at SBI, R.K. Puram,
New Delhi, Code No-1076. No fee will be charged from SC/ST, Ex-Service
Men, Female candidates and ITBP candidate for the post of HC/CM (LDE).
Selection Procedure:
Candidates will be selected on the basis Height Bar, Race, Document
Verification, Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test and
Written Exam.
How to Apply: Eligible
candidates may apply through prescribed application form given in the
notification, fill it with given mandatory details, attach photograph,
attest signature, super scribe the “Application for the Post of
Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer) or Head Constable (Combatant
Ministerial) or Head Constable (Education and Stress Counsellor) in
ITBP” on the envelope and send it along with payment receipt and copies
of all relevant certificates to the respective address given in the
notification on or before 14-12-2012.
