JEE Advanced 2013 Cutoff
The minimum score to limit the number of candidates called for
counseling. The candidates who score above that score will be called for
counselling and admission process and who score below will not be
allowed to appear in JEE Advanced 2013 Counselling will be called as JEE
Advanced 2013 Cutoff.
The JEE Advanced 2013 Cutoff will be released by the IITs at the time of result declaration. A number of coaching institutes will also release the JEE Advanced 2013 Expected Cutoff which will help the candidates to get an idea whether they will be called for counseling or not.
The JEE Advanced 2013 Cutoff ranks and Cutoff Marks will be released on the basis of the annual intake, number of candidates, last year’s cutoffs and other parameters.
The procedure that will be used for calculating the JEE Advanced 2013 Cutoff Ranks and Marks is as follows:
The JEE Advanced 2013 Cutoff for this list will be 2.5% in each subject and 8.75% in aggregate.

The JEE Advanced 2013 Cutoff will be released by the IITs at the time of result declaration. A number of coaching institutes will also release the JEE Advanced 2013 Expected Cutoff which will help the candidates to get an idea whether they will be called for counseling or not.
The JEE Advanced 2013 Cutoff ranks and Cutoff Marks will be released on the basis of the annual intake, number of candidates, last year’s cutoffs and other parameters.
The procedure that will be used for calculating the JEE Advanced 2013 Cutoff Ranks and Marks is as follows:
- Only the candidates, who have attempted both the papers will be considered for cutoff calculation.
- The aggregate marks of the candidate will be the sum of the marks obtained by him/her in both – Paper 1 and Paper 2.
- Based on the performance of the candidates, a Common Merit List (CML) will be prepared. As per the JEE Advanced 2013 Cutoff norms, the candidate must obtain 10% marks in each subject and 35% in aggregate to be included in CML.
- The NCL – OBC, ST and SC will be included in respective merit lists. The JEE Advanced 2013 Cutoff Marks for them are as follows:

- NCL – OBC: 9% in each subject and 31.5% aggregate
- SC and ST: 5% in each subject and 17.5% aggregate
The JEE Advanced 2013 Cutoff for this list will be 2.5% in each subject and 8.75% in aggregate.
- The priority will be decided as follows to resolve the ties – the candidates having higher marks in Mathematics followed by higher marks in Physics. If the candidates have same marks in all subjects, they will be awarded same ranks.
