JEE ADVANCED 2013 RESERVATION OF SEATS, SEATS RESERVATION

JEE Advanced 2013 Reservation of Seats

As per the norms of Govt. of India for admissions in Technical Institutions, there will be some seats reserved for the candidates who belong to the reserved categories under the JEE Advanced 2013 Reservation of Seats.

The categories that will be considered for the JEE Advanced 2013 Reservation of Seats, along with the percentage of seats reserved for them are as follows:

• Scheduled Castes – 15%
• Scheduled Tribes – 7.5%
• Non – Creamy Layer OBC – 27%
• Physically Disabled Candidates – 3% in every category in each institute

JEE Advanced 2013 Reservation of Seats will be for only those candidates who submit proper proof of belonging to these categories.

The candidates have to submit proof in the format as prescribed in the JEE Advanced 2013 Brochure.

JEE Advanced 2013 Reservation of Seats for Preparatory Course:

• If the seats in the PD/SC/ST categories are not filled a limited number of seats will be filled after relaxing the admission criteria further and admitting the candidates for one year preparatory course.

JEE Advanced 2013 Reservation of Seats for DS candidates:

• Two seats in every institute will be reserved for the wards of the Defence Personnel who were killed or disabled permanently in War Time or Peace Time operations.
• These seats will be allotted under Preferential Allotment.
