The National Institute
of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, also known as (NIPER) is a Centre of Excellence for
providing higher education, research and development in pharmaceutical sciences
and management. The centre is located in Mohali and is an Institute of National
Importance under the Government of India. NIPER
got its status through an Act of Parliament, notified on 26th June 1998. The
Institute is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities.

Eligibility:
The candidate should have a qualifying degree with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or CGPA equivalent. Valid GPAT/GATE/NET score is essential for all programmes.

NIPER Entrance Exam
Pattern
A common paper will be there for all Masters Programmes
including M.B.A. (Pharm.). The question paper will consist of 200 multiple
objective choice questions. Duration of the examination will be 2 hours. The
level of questions will be of B. Pharm.and M. Sc (relevant field).
There will be a
negative marking in the written test. 25% marks will be deducted for each wrong
answer.
