National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) has been
setup at Bhubaneswar by the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of
India as a unique institution of its kind pursuing undergraduate and
post-graduate education in sciences combined with front line research.
It invites applications for Direct recruitment of 14 Scientific Officer
& Assistant, Technician Posts.
Eligible candidates may apply through

Total Number of Posts: 14
1. Scientific Officer ‘E’ (Computer) – 01 Post
2. Scientific Officer ‘D’ (Civil) – 01 Post
3. Scientific Officer ‘D’ (Electrical) – 01 Post
4. Scientific Assistant-C (Civil & Electrical) – 04 Posts
5. Scientific Assistant-B (Mechanical, Electrical, & Computer/ Telecommunication) – 05 Posts
6. Technician (Computer/ Telecommunication) – 02 Posts
Age Limit: Candidate
should have not more than 25 years for Technician (Computer/
Telecommunication) post, not more than 30 years for Scientific Assistant
‘C’ & Scientific Assistant ‘B’ posts, not more than 35 years for
Scientific Officer ‘D’ post and not more than 40 years for Scientific
Officer ‘E’ post as on 11-01-2013.
Educational Qualification:
Candidate must possess SSC/ Diploma in Engineering/ equivalent CGPA
after B.E/B.Tech/ B.Sc/ M.E/ M.Tech in relevant disciplines.
Application Fee:
Candidates need to pay application fee is Rs.200/- (No Fee for
SC/ST/PWD, Women Candidates) paid through DD drawn in Favour of Finance
Officer, NISER payable at Bhubaneswar.
Selection Process: Selection will be done on the basis of performance in test / interview.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format,
available in the notification, fill it completely, affix self attested
recent colour passport size photograph on it, along with the self
attested copies of relevant certificates in support of educational
qualifications, age and experiences etc. with superscripted as
“Application for the post of __“name of post” and Advertisement No.
Estt./Rct.-NA/03-2012” must be reach in a sealed envelope
