Sainik School Admission Form 2013-14

Sainik School Admission is confined to boys in Sixth and Ninth Standard. Admissions to boys are granted on the basis of the merit prepared as per written examination, interview and medical examination. All India Sainik School Entrance Exam is the exam which students have to qualify for getting admissions to Sainik schools. This exam is conducted on the First Sunday of January every year at various centers.

All India Sainik Schools Entrance Exam 2013-14

Age Limit: Class VI-Boys born between 02nd July, 2002 and 01st July, 2003 (both days inclusive)

Class IX-Boys born between 02nd July, 1999 and 01st July, 2000 (both days inclusive)

Date of Exam:  06th January, 2013

No. of Seats (Tentative): Approximately 90 for class VI and 20 for class IX

How to apply

The application form for admission in various Sainik Schools can be obtained from the schools itself by paying cash amount of usually Rs 400/- for General and Defence categories and Rs 290/- for SC/ST categories.
