Job Role : Inspector of Legal Metrology

No. of Vacancies : 39 (UR – 21 ; SC – 08 ; ST – 03 ; OBC/A – 04 ; OBC/B – 02 ; PH – 01)

Pay Scale : Rs.9,000/- Rs.40,500/-  with Grade Pay Rs.4,400/-.

Educational Qualification: 

 

(a) Graduate from a recognised University (with Physics as one of the Subjects OR  Diploma in Engineering with 3 years experience in relevant field;   AND

 (b) Know regional language of the state i.e. Bengali/Nepali

Age Limit : Max. Age of 32 years on 01.01.2012.

Application fee : Rs.160/- for General, OBC  and all Category Candidates from other State (NO fee for SC/ST of WB State and PH Candidates)

 The fee can be paid as a receipted Challan from  a Govt. Treasury in West Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head “0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees”.
