Chennai Metro Rail Limited has Released a Notification for the recruitment of Various Job Vacancies with 729 Number of Vacancies for the year 2013.

This Advertisement is released at www.chennaimetrorail.gov.in which is the Official Site of Chennai Metro Rail Limited. Eligible candidates should go through the Details given below and Apply by following the instructions.

Country   :   India.

State / Provision   :   Tamil Nadu.

Opening Date to Apply   :   19th January 2013.

Closing Date to Apply   :   16th February 2013 till 23:59 Hrs.

Last Date for Receipt of printed Application Form with requisite Documents/Photo by Ordinary Post   :   20th February 2013

Date of Examination : March / April 2013 (Tentative)

Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL), a joint venture  of  Govt. of India and Govt. of Tamil  Nadu,  is entrusted with the implementation of the rail based Mass Rapid Transit System for Chennai.

Job Role   :    
1. Station Controller/Train Operator/Jr. Engineer (Stations) : 244 Vacancies
2. Jr. Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil) : 210 Vacancies
3. Technicians (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Plumbing, Blacksmith, Welding, Information Technology) : 265 Vacancies

Number of Vacancies   :   729.

 Application Fee   :   General & Others (including Ex-servicemen) candidates are required to pay a Non-refundable fee of Rs.500/- and SC/ST candidates  are required to pay a non-refundable fee of  Rs.100/-  (for processing & postage charge)  in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of M/s  Chennai Metro
Rail Limited,  payable at Chennai.  The application number,  candidate’s  name,  address and mobile number are to be indicated at the backside of the Demand Draft..

 How to Apply
Candidates applying for the Various Positions in “Chennai Metro Rail Ltd (CMRL)” are required to apply only through the CMRL website: http://www.chennaimetrorail.gov.in. No other Means/Mode of application will be accepted. 

After successful completion of  online application,  the candidate can take print out of the submitted application and affix a self attested latest passport size color photograph in the space provided at the top right side corner of the application form.  Candidate  has to ensure that the application is duly signed and  has affixed his/her  Left Hand thumb  impression in the space provided for  the same. 

Attach the following documents along with the printed application form;
i.  Original Demand draft issued by any Nationalized bank (Mandatory).  On the back side of Original DD, please write your Name, Unique Online Application Number and Mobile No.)
ii.  Self-attested copies of  all relevant  Certificates, Community  certificate (if applicable), Military service certificate (for Ex-serviceman).
iii. Documentary proof for date of Birth (Eg: A copy of Xth or XIIth certificate   may be enclosed to support date of birth).

Send  it by post  or courier  superscribing on the top of the envelope  “Name of  the post applied for” so as to reach on or before the Due date
