Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has issued
notification for the recruitment of 13 posts in Himachal Pradesh
Administrative Service, Class I (Gazetted) & Himachal Pradesh Police
Service Class I (Gazetted) in Himachal Pradesh through HP
Administrative Combined Competitive Exam 2012. The eligible candidates
can apply through online on or before 04-02-2013.

Number of Vacancies : 13 Posts
Job Role :
1. Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service, Class I (Gazetted): 09 Posts
2. Himachal Pradesh Police Service Class I (Gazetted): 04 Posts
2. Himachal Pradesh Police Service Class I (Gazetted): 04 Posts
Age Limit:
Candidate should have between 21 to 35 years of age as on 01-01-2013.
Educational Qualification:
Candidate must possess Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University.
Application Fee:
Candidates need to pay a fee of Rs. 250/- for General candidates and
candidates of other states & Rs. 63/- for SC/ST/OBC of H.P.
candidates. EXSM of HP is exempted from payment of fee. Fee can be paid
through e-Challan generated after applying online for the post through
Commission’s website and the payment must be made at any branch of
Punjab National Bank.
Selection Process:
Selection shall be made on the basis of Preliminary Exam, Main Exam & Viva voice.
How to Apply:
Eligible candidates can apply online apply through the website www.hp.gov.in/hppsc on or before 04-02-2013.
Instructions for Online Application:
1. Candidates can log on to the website www.hp.gov.in/hppsc.
2. Candidates must select ‘New User’ link in Apply Online link to apply for any post in HPPSC for the first time.
3. Fill all the details correctly at the appropriate places in the online application form.
4. Candidates have to pay application fee after the first stage of submission of Online Application where you can download the Challan.
5. Download the system generated e-Challan form and pay the fee as mentioned above.
6. Enter all details in the application form and upload the photo and signature at the places provided and Submit the Application Online.
7. Take the print out of the form for future reference.
