South Western Railway has issued notification for the recruitment of 22 posts under sports quota for Group-C & Group-D Posts. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application form on or before 29-01-2013. For more details regarding age limit, educational qualification, selection process, how to apply and other details are given below…

Number of Vacancies: 22

Job Role :

1. Zonal Railway Quota Group ‘C’ – 12 Posts
2. Zonal Head Quarters Quota Erstwhile Group ‘D’ – 04 Posts
3. Hubli Division Quota Erstwhile Group ‘D’ – 02 Posts
4. Bangalore Division Quota Erstwhile Group ‘D’ – 02 Posts
5. Mysore Division Quota Erstwhile Group ‘D’ – 02 Posts

Age Limit: 

Candidate should have 18 to 25 years of age as on 01-01-2013.

Educational Qualification: Candidate must passed Matriculation or its equivalent for Group C Post and 10th/ ITI/ Equivalent for Group D Post with relevant sports certificate for all posts.

Application Fee: 

Candidates need to pay examination fee for Unreserved and OBC candidates is Rs.40/- (SC/ ST/ PH/ Women/ Minority/ EBC/ Ex Servicemen are exempted). The examination fee should be paid in the form of Indian Postal Order from any Post office or demand draft from any Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of and payable at for Group “C” in respect of SWR Zonal quota: FA & CAO, South Western Railway, Hubli and payable at Hubli. For Group D (A) Hubli division quota: Sr.DFM, Hubli & payable at Hubli.(B) Bangalore division quota: Sr.DFM, Bangalore & payable at Bangalore.(C) Mysore division quota: Sr.DFM, Mysore & payable at Mysore.

Selection Process: 

Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in written test, Personality Test/ Interview.

Eligible candidates can download the application form from the website www.swr.indianrailways.gov.in and fill it with all given mandatory details, affix  passport size photograph on it with duly attested by a Gazetted Officer on the application and sent along with one passport size photograph, relevant enclosures, DD & send
