PEC University 2013 Entrance Exam notifications have not yet been released. The candidates can go through the following information based on last year prospectus and have a basic idea about the admission process of PEC.

PEC University of Technology was declared a Deemed University in 2004 and provides admissions to first year programmes of various engineering courses on the basis of AIEEE score.

PEC 2013 admissions will begin in the month of July, 2013 strictly on the basis of AIEEE score of the candidates.

The PEC 2013 Eligibility Criteria require a candidate to:
  • Have taken the Class XII or equivalent exam with a compulsory subject combination of Mathematics, Physics and one out of Computer Science, Chemistry, Biology and Engineering Drawing.
  • Have a minimum aggregate of 60% (GEN) and 55% (ST/SC/Physically Handicapped) in the qualifying exam conducted by a recognized University or Board.
PEC 2013 Reservation of Seats:
  • Out of the total seats, 50% will be reserved under both Chandigarh and All India Quota.
  • The PEC University 2013 Entrance Exam Reservation of Seats for Chandigarh Quota are as follows:
  • SC: 14%
  • Wards / spouses of Paramilitary or Military Personnel: 5%
  • Physically Handicapped: 3%
  • Grandchildren / Children of Freedom Fighters: 2%
  • PEC 2013 Reservation of Seats for Sports Quota: 2%
  • PEC 2013 Reservation of Seats for All India Quota are as follows:
  • SC: 15%
  • ST: 5%
  • Wards / spouses of Paramilitary or Military Personnel: 5%
  • Physically Handicapped: 3%
  • Grandchildren / Children of Freedom Fighters: 2%
