No new notifications have been released yet. The candidates can get an idea from the following information based on the last year’s brochure. As soon as the notice is released, the post will be updated.

The Symbiosis International University will conduct the Symbiosis University Entrance Exam SET 2013 for admissions in various first year degree programmes. The candidates can also apply for more than one course in the institute. The candidates have to sit in the mandatory written test to get admission.

Scores of some exams will also be considered for admission under Symbiosis SET 2013.
The candidates can either apply via the official website or via the website of SIT i.e. the Symbiosis Institute of Technology.
Symbiosis SET 2013 University Entrance Exam Eligibility:
  • The HSC or any other equivalent exam or Class XII exam conducted by any Statutory Board must have been passed by the candidate and he/she must have secured at least 60% aggregate in the subjects of PCM as per the eligibility norms of Symbiosis SET 2013 Eligibility Criteria.
  • The minimum aggregate of 55% in PCM must be obtained according to relaxed eligibility criteria for SC/ST candidates.
  • The students who have obtained a valid score in the exams like JEE Main 2013, JEE Advanced 2013 and MHTCET 2013 will also be eligible under Symbiosis SET 2013 Eligibility Criteria.
Symbiosis SET 2013 Application Form:
  • The form fee for all the undergraduate courses is Rs. 1000/- and for SICR the fee is Rs. 1000/- for one program and Rs. 2000/- in case the candidate wants to apply for two programmes.
  • Mere application form filling doesn’t entitle a candidate for admission process as after the declaration of the result the candidates will be shortlisted and then assigned seats as per their merit.
  • There will be two options for filling the Symbiosis SET 2013 Application Form:
  1. From SET Website.
  2. From the website of the institute.
Symbiosis University Entrance Exam SET 2013 Reservation of Seats:
  • SC: 15%
  • ST: 7.5%
  • Differently Abled: 3%
  • Kashmiri Migrants: 2 Seats in each course
  • Foreign Candidates / International candidates: 15%
  • Defence Quota: 5%
Symbiosis SET 2013 Admit Card
It will be made available on the website for the candidates. The candidates can download admit cards from the website in between April 2013 last week and May 2013 beginning.
Symbiosis SET 2013 Counselling:
The Symbiosis SET 2013 admissions will be done on the basis of the result of the candidates via the open Symbiosis SET 2013 University Entrance Exam Counselling.
Three types of candidates will be eligible for counseling:
  • The SET 2013 Test Candidates - Symbiosis SET 2013 Counselling done around June 2013 Second Week
  • The JEE Main & JEE Advanced 2013 Candidates – Set counseling done around June 2013 third week
  • MHTCET 2013 candidates – for these candidates, the Symbiosis SET 2013 Counselling will be done around the last week of June 2013.
