EAMCET 2013 APPLY WITH 2ND YEAR HALL TICKET NUMBER EAMCET 2013

Students have to apply online ONLY using the Hall Ticket of their 10 +2 examination

According to the latest information put forth by the JNTU for the AP EAMCET 2013 :

  • Students have to enter the hall ticket number pertaining to Class XII or Intermediate Second year to be able to apply.
  • Applications using the hall ticket number of the first year (Class 11 or Intermediate First year) will be rejected.
  EAMCET is an entrance exam conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education to provide admission to the eligible candidates for various degree courses in engineering in the colleges under the state.
 
EAMCET 2013 Eligibility Criteria :
  • Candidates should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of India Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.
  • Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh. The candidates should satisfy local / non – local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulations of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.
For Engineering, Bio- Technology, B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech (Ag. Engineering) and for 50% seats in B. Pharmacy, B.Tech (Food Science and Technology (FST) /B.Sc (Commercial Agri & Business Mgt. (CA & BM)) Courses :
  • Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Mathematics, Physics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology as optionals
  • Any related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh along with bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled during 2000-2002 and subsequent batches
  • Any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, provided that candidates who have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optionals along with the bridge course examination in Mathematics conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh shall also be eligible for the Bio-Technology course.
  • Candidate should obtain at least 45% of marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together at 10+2.
EAMCET B.Tech 2013 Age Limit :
Age Limit for Engineering : should have completed 16 years of age, as on 31st December 2013. There is no upper age limit.

Age Limit for or B.Tech (Dairy Technology)/ B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering)/ B.Tech. (FST) / B.Sc. (CA & BM): Between 17 to 22 years as on December 31, 2013 (for SC/ST the upper age limit is 25 years.

Note : Proof of satisfying the marks criteria in respect of candidates who appeared for the Qualifying examination during the year should be furnished within 7 days after publication of the examination results by the concerned examination Board.

EAMCET 2013 Selection Procedure :

The selection of the candidate is based on the score obtained in the EAMCET 2013.

The candidates who have secured qualifying marks in EAMCET and candidates belonging to the category of Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe, for whom qualifying marks have not been prescribed, shall be assigned ranking in the order of merit on the basis of combined score obtained by giving 75% weightage to the marks secured in EAMCET and 25% weightage to the marks secured in the relevant group subjects namely Mathematics or Biology, Physics, Chemistry of the qualifying examination.

EAMCET 2013 Paper Pattern : The Entrance test is of 3 hour duration and the question paper consists of a total 160 questions comprising of a total of 80 questions in Mathematics, 40 questions in Physics and 40 questions in Chemistry.

All questions are objective type (multiple choice) only and each question carries one mark. There is no negative marking.

EAMCET 2013 Application process :

The application form for the test will be available only online. The candidate has to fill up the online form from the official website and make the payment by cash or by using credit/debit card.

Application Fees for EAMCET 2013 : Rs.250
Application fee can be paid via:
1. Through AP Online / e-Seva / Mee-Seva centres :
 
Visit any of the AP Online,e-Seva / Mee-Seva centers with the following mandatory details:
  • Hall Ticket number of the Qualifying Examination Eg:- Intermediate Public Examination, CBSE, ICSE, RGUKT  etc..
  • Name of the Candidate
  • Candidate's Father Name
  • Date of Birth of the Candidate
  • Hall Ticket number of  S.S.C(10th Class)
  • Mobile number
  • Pay the requisite fee and obtain a receipt for Registration fee paid and ensure that it contains a Transaction Id.

2. Through Debit / Credit card.

The following details are needed to make the payment :
  • Hall Ticket number of the Qualifying Examination Eg:- Intermediate Public Examination, CBSE, ICSE, RGUKT  etc..
  • Name of the Candidate

  • Hall Ticket number of  S.S.C(10th Class)

Exam Centres for EAMCET 2013 : Test Centre will be allotted only at Hyderabad / Secunderabad.
