JNTUH MSIT 2013

MSIT programme is being offered by “Consortium of Institutions of Higher Learning” (CIHL), formed by the universities in Andhra Pradesh, in collaboration with leading universities from across the globe. CIHL has designed the programme with the active participation of Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), USA and inputs from major IT companies. CMU is a leading institution in the field of Information Technology.

Eligibility:

2 Year MSIT : B.Tech / B.E (All branches) or Equivalent Degree / Post Graduates in Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics or MCA.

3 Year MSIT : B.Sc (Mathematics / Computer Science/IT)/BCA or Equivalent Degree.

Specializations : Computer Networks, e-Business Technologies, Software Engineering, Information Security, Language Technologies and Education Technologies are available in the MSIT programme.

Fee for MSIT:

• Rs.15,000 for the Preparatory Course.
• Rs.1,20,000/- for the main programme of the 1st year of the 2 year and 3 year MSIT programme and Rs 35,000 towards laptop fee(Laptop is purchased by CIHL for the student).
• Rs.1,35,000 for the 2nd year of the 2-Year and 3-Year MSIT programme
• Rs.1,35,000 for the 3rd year of the 3-Year MSIT programme.

Fee must be paid at the beginning of each year of the MSIT programmes.

Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT) is a Postgraduate program offered by a consortium of universities in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University, USA with the support of State government of Andhra Pradesh.

MSIT is currently offered at IIIT Hyderabad and JNTU-H SIT, Hyderabad. MSIT is also being offered at JNTU-K, Kakinada from this year.

MSIT has been designed to develop technically competent, highly productive, and self motivated professionals in tune with the demands of an ever changing market. The programme aims to groom not only IT professionals, but also experts from other domains offering a unique and comprehensive programme that exposes the learners to some of the finest universities both in India and abroad.

At the end of their stint with MSIT, they will, armed as they are with new found confidence and vigor, step out into the world to further practice the skills they have learnt in this programme.

Results of GAT	1st June 2013
Stage II counseling starts from	12th June 2013
Commencement of Preparatory Course	24th June 2013
Commencement of Main Course	19th August 2013

The candidates can take Entrance Test on any Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday every week from 18th April, 2013 including May 20, 21 & 22, 2013
