Role : Scientific Assistant Grade-II.
Name of the Service and Code No. : Tamil Nadu Forensic science Subordinate Service (Code No.033).
Number of Vacancies : 33 (Biology-10, Chemistry-18, Physics-5).
Educational Qualification
M.Sc., (Forensic Science) Degree and a degree in the subject, for the group as shown in the explanation below to which he/she is appointed
or
M.Sc., Degree in the subject for the group as shown in the explanation below to which he/she is appointed.
M.Sc., Degree in the subject for the group as shown in the explanation below to which he/she is appointed.
Other things being equal, preference shall be given to a person who holds a degree in M.Sc., (Forensic Science) .
Pay Scale
Rs.9,300-34,800/- (PB2) + Grade Pay 4,500/-.
Examination Fee
Examination fee Rs.150/- (i.e. Cost of Application Rs.50/- + Examination fee Rs. 100/-) (Rupees one hundred and fifty only). Candidates claiming exemption from examination fee should pay Rs.50/- towards Application Cost. Candidates have also to pay the service charges applicable to the Bank or Post Office or Fee Processing Agency.
Selection Process
Selection will be made in two successive stages i.e.,
(i) Written Examination and (ii) Oral Test.
