Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has Released a Notification for the recruitment of Assistant Professor Job Vacancies for the year 2013.

Job Role : Assistant Professor.

Number of Vacancies : 1289.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess Master’s Degree in the subject concerned along with NET/SLET.
Age Limit
As on 1st January 2013
Minimum = 18 Years.
Maximum = 37 Years.
Physically handicapped candidates = 39 years.
Candidates belonging to RBA/SC/ST/ALC/SLC categories = 40 years.
Candidates in Govt Service =40 years.
Candidates working as 10+2 Lecturer = 45 years.
Ex-serviceman= 48 years.
Application Fee
Application Forms can be obtained from the office of J&K Public Service Commission, Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu/Polo Ground, Srinagar on cash payment of Rs.500/- for General Category candidates and Rs.250/- for Category candidates (excluding the processing charges of Rs.10/-) to be paid in cash through the counters of J&K Bank opened in JKPSC offices at Jammu/ Srinagar.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Screening Written Test and Interview.
How to Apply
Candidates have to submit the application form, photocopy of the filled up application form along with duly affixed photograph, documents/ testimonials/ necessary copies of age, caste, nativity, educational, physical fitness certificates must be sent in the special envelop supplied by the Commission for the purpose or mailed by registered post to the address of Secretary, J&K Public Service Commission, Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu/Polo Ground, Srinagar, on or before 24-06-2013.
