Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has Released a Notification for the recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP Job Vacancies for the year 2013.
Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination.

Both male and female candidates are eligible for appointment to BSF, CRPF and CISF. However, only male candidates are eligible for appointment in ITBP.

This Advertisement is released at upsconline.nic.in which is the Official Site of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Eligible candidates should go through the Details given below and Apply by following the instructions.

Opening Date to Apply : 6th July 2013.
Closing Date to Apply : 5th August 2013 till 11:59 PM.
Date of Written Exam : 20th October 2013.

Educational Qualification
A Candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other eduational institutions established by an Act of Parliment or declared to be deemed as a University under section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or posses an equivalent qualification.
Age Limit
A Candidate must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years on 1st August 2013, i.e he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August 1988 and not later than 1st August 1993.
Application Fee
Candidates are required to apply Online at UPSC website, however for certain candidates, offline facility is available and these candidates must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examinations, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/ Post offices throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 30/- only.

Rs. 200/- (SC/ST/Women candidates are exempted) to be deposited in Branches of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/ State Bank of Hyderabad/ State Bank of Mysore / State Bank of Patiala/ State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.

Selection Process
Selection will be based on the basis of a written examination to be conducted on 20/10/2013 by the UPSC followed by Physical Standards/ Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Standards Test to be conducted by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Personality Test/ Interview to be conducted by UPSC.

Interested candidates must apply online through the website “www.upsconline.nic.in” on or before 05-08-2013 by 11.59 PM. After submission of application, candidates may take print out of Online Application Form for future reference.

1. Log on to www.upsconline.nic.in
2. Click on the link “UPSC Online Applications” and then “Online Application for Various Examinations of UPSC”.
3. Click on appropriate advertisement link.
4. Fill all the mandatory details and upload scanned copies of photograph and signature.
5. Submit error free application form.
6. Take print out of Online Application Form for future reference.
