ELIGIBILITY FOR TEST, MANNER OF ADMISSION FOR M.P. PROFESSIONAL EXAMINATION BOARD, BHOPAL

ELIGIBILITY FOR TEST  

-->>  The Candidates should be an Indian National.
-->>  Educational Qualifications:

MBA & ALLIED COURSES:  
A candidate seeking admission to MBA and Allied Courses should be a Graduate with at least 50% marks and 45% marks in case of SC, ST, OBC category of Madhya Pradesh in aggregate of any UGC/AICTE approved Indian University or from a foreign University recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or institute recognized by the concerned University as equivalent thereto.  The Bachelor's degree must
be of minimum three years duration after passing Higher Secondary (10+2) examination of (10+2) system or
equivalent.

MCA COURSE:  
A candidate seeking admission to MCA Course should be a Graduate with at least 50% marks and 45% marks in case of SC, ST, OBC (excluding Creamy Layer) category of Madhya Pradesh in aggregate of any UGC/AICTE approved Indian University or from a foreign University recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or institute recognized by the concerned University as equivalent thereto.  The Bachelor's degree must be of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics as compulsory or an
additional subject at  Higher Secondary (10+2) level. 
NOTE: 
Candidates in the Final year of above degree examination can also appear in the MET- 2012 test / PreMCA-2012 test on provisional basis.  But such a candidate shall have to produce the original certificate of having passed/mark sheet of the final year of the degree examination at the time of admission taken in the allotted institute; however, candidate shall have to fill all the entries of qualifying examination at the time of
registration.
   
Manner of Admission –

-->> Through a Common Entrance Test conducted by Madhya Pradesh Vyavasayik Pareeksha Mandal (VYAPAM), Bhopal which shall prepare and notify  category wise merit/waiting lists as well as common ranking lists on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in Pre-MCA 2012/MET-2012. 

MBA & ALLIED COURSES:     An entrance test MET-2012 test shall be conducted by VYAPAM for selection of candidates for admission to Management and Allied courses. The test shall have the following components:
(i)  Written test (WT)    80% marks
(ii)  Group Discussions (GD)  10% marks
(iii) Interview (I)   10% marks

MCA COURSES: 
An entrance test Pre-MCA-2012, shall be conducted by VYAPAM for selection of candidates for admission to MCA course. 

-->> Inter se merit of candidat es getting equal marks in the Common Entrance  Test shall be decided by giving preference to the person, who is  older in age and, in case the age is also same, then merit sha ll be decided on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
