Post Diploma Common Entrance Test (CET) 2012 of National Board of Examination

CET refers to Common Entrance Test, which is conducted every year by National Board of Examination for entry at various Medical specialty. Admission in Post Diploma in DNB secondary seats are on card of National Board of Exam. Regarding CET 2012, applications on prescribed format are invited by National Board of Examination from eligible candidates by 10th May 2012.

This year CET 2012 will be organizing on 10th June at various allocated center. Candidates, who are keeping the tab open to be part of prestigious medical colleges or hospitals to purse their DNB Diploma, have right time to move on.

As the announcement reveals, CET will be held on 10.06.2012. Candidates who emerge victorious at primary level would have to face Centralized Counseling. After clearing both level candidates will get the nod for selection in DNB Course at prestigious Medical Colleges as well as Hospital in Indian Territory.

i) Post Diploma CET Exam Rs. 3500/-
ii) Internet Downloaded forms Rs. 750/-
Note : Internet Downloaded forms to be accompanied also with form fees of Rupees Seven Hundred Fifty Only.
Banks are permitted to levy transaction charges for the above as follows:
Indian Bank - Rs. 30/- per Challan
Axis Bank - Rs. 70/- per Challan

Deposition of Fees:
By Cash Deposit At any branch of Indian Bank (website : www.indianbank.in) or
Axis Bank (website : www.axisbank.com). The fee as above can be deposited at any branch of the Indian Bank or Axis Bank; Kindly use the specialized pay-in-slip below to Download. 


Pay-in-slip can also be downloaded from NBE Website www.natboard.edu.in. NBE copy of pay-in-slip is required to be submitted in original along with application form.
Note : Fee submitted through demand draft shall not be accepted.
There is no fee deposit counter at NBE Office.
Candidates remaining  absent from the  examination will forfeit their examination fee. Candidates are advised to read the rule position carefully and satisfy the terms and conditions for fulfillment of eligibility criteria.

Candidates successful in the Post Diploma CET shall be asked to participate in a  Centralized counseling conducted by National Board of Examinations for allotment of DNB secondary seat at NBE accredited Institutions/hospitals/medical colleges in order of their Specialty merit and
shall be able to opt for the NBE accredited institution/hospital/medical college of their choice as per availability at their merit.


ELIGIBILITY:
Candidates who have passed the final examination leading to the award of Post Graduate Diploma from Indian Universities which are duly recognized as per provisions of Indian Medical Council Act 1956, Govt of India i.e. have passed/Passing the final examinations for Post graduate diploma on or before 30 June 2012 can apply for the Post diploma CET examination in same Broad specialty. A proof to this effect has to be submitted along with
the application form for Post Diploma CET examination.

Submission of proof of having passed/Passing the Post graduate diploma final examination on or before the 30.06.2012 is an essential pre-requisite. In case the candidate does not submit requisite proof of passing his/her post graduate diploma final examination He/She shall not be allowed to participate in the merit based Counselling.

Note : Candidates are advised to ensure before submitting their application form that they fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria and their application is complete in all respects. Applications of those candidates which are incomplete or do not fulfill the eligibility criteria
will be summarily rejected.

INSTRUCTIONS  TO  THE  CANDIDATES  FOR FILLING THE APPLICATION FORM FOR POST DIPLOMA CET-NBE EXAMINATION JUNE 2012
1.  There are 3 forms.
a.  Computer Readable Scannable Form
b.  Non-Scanable Form
c.  Specimen Form
d.  Check List
2.  Kindly fill your data in specimen sheet before you fill the Scannable & Non scannable forms. (Specimen sheet has to be retained by the candidate)
3.  Non-Scannable forms and Check List have to be submitted along with annexed documents.
4.  The scannable form must be submitted in a separate envelope No documents / have to be enclosed with the scannable form. This envelope should then be put in the bigger envelope alongwith the Non scannable form and other documents.
5.  Enclose attested photocopies of certificates and NBE copy of pay-in-slip with the Non Scannable form.
