Education Qualification : Passed Master Degree at least in Second Class in a subject specified in corresponding entries of the Schedule with a Bachelor Degree of Education (B.Ed.) or its equivalent.
Provided that the persons having master degree in Second Class in respective subjects, and appointed under the rules, shall pass bachelor degree of education (B.Ed.) or its equivalent at their own cost, within four years from the date of appointment.
Provided further that, notwithstanding anything contained in the Karnataka Civil Services (Probation) Rules, 1977, the period of probation shall be four years for the persons appointed under these rules.

Pay Scale : Rs.11400-300-12300-350-14400-400-16800-450-19500-525-21600.
