The IIEST 2013 Entrance Exam Notifications have not been released yet. The following article is based on the 2012 information brochure and the candidates can take an idea about the admission process from it. As soon as the new notifications are released, it will be updated.


The IIEST 2013 admissions will be done on the basis of the WBJEE 2013 score and the candidates need not sit for any other entrance exam. The candidates however, have to confirm to the Eligibility criteria in order to be eligible for admission under IIEST 2013 Entrance Exam.


The university provides B.E. /B. Arch. Degrees in ten disciplines. There will be separate dates for admission in different courses and the candidates have to report on the same day only for admission.

IIEST 2013 Eligibility Criteria:

  • The nationality of the candidates should be Indian.
  • The candidates should have taken the HSC or Class XII exam from a recognized board or university with at least 5 subjects, two out of which should be vernacular languages.
  • To be eligible as per IIEST 2013 Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria, the candidates should have obtained a minimum aggregate of 50% (GEN) or 40% (ST/SC) in the subjects of Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.
  • The candidates of all categories must obtain a minimum of 30% marks in English to be eligible as per the IIEST 2013 Eligibility Criteria.

IIEST 2013 Reservation of Seats:

There will be reservation of seats in IIEST for the candidates of reserved categories as follows and the candidates have to submit valid proofs of belonging to these categories at the time of admission to claim these seats:

  • Scheduled Castes – 22%
  • Scheduled Tribes – 6%
  • Physically Handicapped – 3%
  • Defence Quota – 3 seats
  • Foreign Candidates – as per the recommendations of MHRD
  • Tution Waiver Scheme – 5%

Documents to be submitted :

  • Date of Birth proof
  • Class XII Mark Sheet
  • Provisional Allotment JEE Letter
  • Attested Blood Group Certificate
  • Category Certificate
  • 3 colored passport sized photos
  • Code of Conduct document
  • Completely filled IIEST 2013 application form
  • IIEST 2013 Undertaking of students as well as their parents
  • Migration Certificate

IIEST 2013 Fee Details :

  • The fee has to be deposited at the time of admission at the UCO Bank, BESUS Branch.
  • Fee for First Semester – Rs. 11, 700/-.
  • TFW Candidate – Rs. 500/-.
