CG PET 2013 Entrance Exam


The Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test (CG PET) 2013 Entrance Exam notifications have not yet been released by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board which is the organizing body of CG PET. 

The following information has been uploaded for the students so that they can get an idea about the exam and is subject to updates as soon as notifications are released.

The CG PET 2013 Exam will be organized in the mid of month of May 2013.

CG PET 2013 Eligibility Criteria :

  • The candidates must have taken the subjects of Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects and any one of Biology/Chemistry/Bio – Technology as an optional subject in the final exam of Class XII.
  • The candidates must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 50% (GEN) or 45% (ST/SC/OBC) in the qualifying exam.
  • As per the norms of CG PET 2013 Eligibility Criteria, the candidate must have passed the exam from a recognized School / University and have cleared each of the exams individually in first attempt.
  • Only the resident candidates of State of Chhattisgarh will be eligible for admission in the Government, Self – Financing Institutions and Private Institutions.
  • As per the CG PET 2013 Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria provisions, the upper limit on candidate’s age is 25 years (GEN) to participate in the exam. A relaxation of 3 years for the candidates of OBC/SC/ST/PD/Female category will be there.

CG PET 2013 Reservation of Seats:

  • There will be a reservation of 15% for the Scheduled Castes, 21% for the Scheduled Tribes and 14% for the Non – Creamy layer OBC candidates.
  • There is no CG PET 2013 Reservation of Seats in the Private Engineering Colleges.
  • There will be a reservation of 5% seats for Sainik Category candidates.
  • 3% seats will be reserved for Freedom Fighters Category Candidates.
  • Another 3% seats will be under CG PET 2013 Reservation of Seats for the Physically Handicapped candidates.
  • 30% seats will be under CG PET 2013 Reservation of Seats for the female candidates of every category.
  • Kashmiri Migrants:  One seat reserved in every category.

CG PET 2013 Application Form:

There are three ways a candidate can obtain the CG PET 2013 Application Form:

  • Designated Sales Centers
  • By post from the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board Office
  • Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board of Counters

CG PET 2013 Entrance Exam Counselling :

All the notifications regarding the dates, times and ranks of the candidates along with other details regarding the CG PET 2013 Counselling will be released in the newspapers, websites and all the engineering colleges of the state.
