Job Role : 
A. Government Engineering & Technological Colleges under Higher Education Department:
1. Principal: 03 Posts
2. Professor: 27 Posts
3. Associate Professor: 57 Posts
B. School Education Department:
1. Head Mistress: 01 Post
2. Science Mistress: 01 Post
3. Geography Mistress: 01 Post
4. Science Master (Physics): 01 post
C. District Inspector of Schools: 02 posts.

Number of Vacancies : 93.
Educational Qualification
Candidate must possess Degree/ B.Ed/ B.E/ B.Tech/ M.E/ M.Tech/ MCA/ Ph.D in relevant field with desired experience as per the post and should have ability to read, write and speak in Bengali is an essential qualification. For post wise details refer to the notification..
Age Limit
Candidate should have not more than 50 years for Principal, Professor Post, not more than 40/ 45 years for Associate professor Post, below 45 years for Head Mistress post and below 35 years for all remaining posts as on 01-01-2013. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules..
Application Fee
Candidates must enclose with the application a fee of Rs. 210/- only by Indian Postal Order which must be purchased on a date after publication of this advertisement and on or before the closing date of submission of application and crossed and endorsed to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, or by a receipted Challan from a Govt. Treasury in West Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head “0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees”. The Postal Orders should be made payable at G.P.O., Kolkata. Money Order, Cheque, Bank Draft, Cash etc. will not be accepted.
Selection Process
Selection will be done on the basis of a Screening Test / Written Test and Interview.
How to Apply
Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format available in the notification, fill it completely with all given mandatory details, affix passport size photograph with duly signed by the candidate, completed application form must be submitted along with the copies of relevant certificates, Indian Postal Order/ Treasury Challan, two self-addressed unstamped envelopes and one self-addressed post card should be enclosed with the application must be sent strictly by registered or speed post or under certificate of posting to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, 161-A, S.P. Mukherjee Road, Kolkata – 700 026 on or before 21-05-2013. Or may also be submitted personally between 11-00 AM and 3-30 PM on all working days of the Commission’s office.
