Job Description
 Air India Air Transport Services Limited (AIATSL) invites applications from Indian nationals to engage and maintain a wait-list, of those who meet with the requirements specified herein, for ground duties at Kochi Airport, on a fixed-term contract, for a period of 3 years.

Job Role : 
1. Sr customer agent : 27 vacancies
2. Sr ramp service agent : 09 vacancies
3. Customer agent : 145 vacancies
4. Jr.customer agent : 49 vacancies
5. Ramp service agent & ramp service agent(lg) : 55 vacancies
6. Utility agent cum ramp driver : 20 vacancies.

Number of Vacancies : 305.

Educational Qualification
1. Sr customer agent : Graduate in any discipline (minimum 3 years’ duration) from a recognized University and conversant with Basic Computer Application, ability to speak fluent English and local language. Knowledge of Hindi language viz. ability to understand and speak, is desirable.

2. Sr ramp service agent : 3 years Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Production/Electronics/Automobile   Engineering recognized   by   the   State   Government or ITI with NCTVT (total 3 years)   in Motor   Vehicle/Auto Electrical / Air Conditioning / Diesel Mechanic / Bench Fitter and Welder ( ITI with NCTVT(certificate issued from Directorate of Vocational Education & Training of any State Government with one year experience) / after passing SSC / equivalent examination with English and Local language, as one of the subjects. 

3. Customer agent : Graduate in any discipline (minimum 3 years, duration)from a recognized University with ability to speak fluent English and local language and convers ant with basic computer operations. Knowledge of Hindi language viz. ability to understand and speak, is desirable.

4. Jr.customer agent : i) Educational Qualification: minimum HSC (XII th std pass)
ii) Age: 28 years (relaxation in age for reserved categories will be as per Presidential Directives)
iii) Relaxation in Age requirement due Experience: Prospective candidates who are trained and experienced in Air India or its Customer Airline flight handling system at Nedumbassary Airport, Kochi will be given an age relaxation to the extent of this experience. 

5. Ramp service agent & Ramp service agent (Lower Grade) : 3 years’ Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Production/Electronics/Automobile Engineering recognized by the State Government or ITI with NCTVT (total 3 years) in Motor Vehicle/Auto Electrical /Air Conditioning / Diesel Mechanic / Bench Fitter and Welder (ITI with NCTVT (certificate issued from Directorate of Vocational Education & Training of any State Government with one year experience), after passing SSC / equivalent examination with English and Local language, as one of the subjects. 

6. Utility agent cum ramp driver :

i) Minimum SSC ( Xth std pass)
ii) Must possess valid HMV Driving License

Selection Process
1. Sr customer agent : Personal Interview on the same day or any other day as may be communicated to the candidates.

2. Sr ramp service agent : Personal Interview on the same day or any other day as may be communicated to the candidates.

3. Customer agent : 
 (i) Applicants walking in, will have to appear for a Group Discussion, on the same day. Those who qualify  in the Group Discussion will have to appear for Personal Interview (s) on the same day.
(ii) NOTE : The application form of the candidate, after submission of the requisite fee, wherever applicable would be scrutinized and prima facie eligible candidates will be allotted a slot either on the   same   day  for Group Discussion i.e. only if found eligible on preliminary scrutiny, the candidates will be allowed to appear for Group Discussion /Personal Interview.

4. Jr.customer agent : Personal Interview.

5. Ramp service agent & ramp service agent (LG) : Applicants walking in, will have to appear for a Trade Test including driving HMV / LMV as per the post applied for on the same day / following day(s). Those who qualify in the Trade Test will have to appear for Personal Interview (s) on the same day / following day(s).

6. Utility agent cum ramp driver :  
i) Trade Test including driving test of HMV-Those passing the Trade Test will be sent for Personal Interview
ii) Personal Interview (s) 
Application Fee 
Application Fee of Rs.300/- (Rupees Three Hundred Only) by means of  an A/c  Payee Demand Draft in favour of  “Air India Air Transport Services Ltd.”, payable at Mumbai, which is not refundable.  No Fees to be paid by Ex-servicemen/applicants belonging to SC/ST community. Please mention your full name on the reverse of the Demand Draft.
