Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) has Released a Notification for the recruitment of Junior Engineer Job Vacancies with 323 Number of Vacancies for the year 2013.

Job Description
Applications are invited in prescribed Form from the eligible citizens of India for selection of candidates on the basis of Written Combined Competitive Examination followed by an Interview-Cum-Personality Test against vacancies for direct re cruitment to the posts of 
(i) Junior Engineer, TES Grade-V(A) & Junior Engineer Grade-I (Group-B Non-Gazetted) and 
(ii) Junior Engineer, TES Grade-V(B) & Junior Engineer-Grade-II (Group-C Non-Gazetted) in different branch es under Public Works Department & Rural Development Department, Govt. of Tripura.
Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) Recruitment Details 2013 
Job Role : 
1. Junior Engineer TES Grade-V(A), Grade-I Civil : 164.
2. Junior Engineer Grade-V Mechanical : 2.
3. Junior Engineer TES Grade-V(A) Electrical : 9.
4. Junior Engineer Grade V, II Civil : 137.
5. Junior Engineer TES Grade V(B) Mechanical : 6.
6. Junior Engineer TES Grade-V(B) Electrical : 5.

Number of Vacancies : 323.
Educational Qualification
(a) For Junior Engineer, TES Grade-V(A) & Junior Engineer Grade-I(Group-B Non-Gazetted), a candidate must have at least a Degree in an appropriate Branch of Engineering from a recognized University or its equivalent academic qualification.

(b) For Junior Engineer, TES Grade-V(B) & Junior Engineer-Grade-II (Group-C Non-Gazetted), a candidate must have a Diploma in an appropriate Branch of Engineering or its equivalent academic qualification from recognized Institutions. .
Age Limit
18 years to 40 years as on 15.05.2013. Relaxable by 5(five) years in case of ST/ SC/Physically Handicapped persons and Govt. Servants, provided that the Govt. servants belonging to SC / ST/ Physically Handicapped persons shall not get this relaxation over and above the general relaxation of 5 (five) years available to them.
Pay Scale
For Junior Engineer Grade V(A) : Rs. 9570-30,000/- PB-3, GP- Rs. 3500/-
For Junior Engineer Grade V(B) : Rs. 5,310- 24,000/-, PB-2, GP-Rs. 2400/-.
Application Fee
(i) Group-B Posts:-  Rs.150/=  (Rupees One Hundred and fifty) only for General Candidates an d Rs. 100/= (Rupees One Hundred) only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.  
(ii) Group-C Posts:- Rs. 100/ =  (Rupees One Hundred) only for General Candidates  and Rs. 50/= (Rupees fifty) only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped  Candidates.
Selection Process
Selection of candidates on the basis of Written Combined Competitive Examination followed by an Interview-Cum-Personality Test.
How to Apply
Application in the prescribed form duly filled in by the candidate and 2(two)
copies of recent stamp size photographs of the candidate affixed on the Application and Admit Card along with the copies of self attested certificates, self addressed envelope bearing postage stamp of Rs. 5/- (rupees five) is to be submitted to the Reception Counter of the TPSC Secretariat by 5.00 PM of the closing date 15.05.2013.
