Mission of Organization : The asigned mission of the Damodar Valley Corporation under Section 12 of the DVC Act, 1948: Flood control, Promotion and operation of schemes for irrigation. Water supply for industrial and domestic use. Navigation and drainage Generation, transmission and distribution of electrical energy. Promotion of afforestation and control of soil erosion in valley area. Promotion of public health, agriculture, industrial, economic and general well being in Damodar valley.

Selection Procedure : GATE – 2012 marks would be the major constraint. Selection of eligible candidates will be made on the basis of Group Discussion (GD), Psychometric Test (PT) and Personal Interview (PI).
