SUPREME COURT GRANTED PERMISSION TO HOLD EAMCET IN ANDHRA PRADESH

SUPREME COURT GRANTED PERMISSION TO HOLD EAMCET IN ANDHRA PRADESH

Thursday came as a day with a word of much awaited decision from the Supreme Court on the participation of Andhra Pradesh in NEET UG 2013 for admission in Medical Courses. The State Government has been granted permission to conduct its own state level entrance test – EAMCET.

The final hearing on stay on NEET UG 2013 has been scheduled on 15, 16 and 17th January 2013. This interim permission granted to Andhra Pradesh State Govt. by the SC will now allow the state to carry on with the preparation of conducting the test for under graduate and post graduate admissions.

Now the EAMCET 2013 Schedule is expected to be released by the first week of January, 2013 for admission to engineering and medical courses. However, the authorities are still in favor of waiting for the final hearing of court till the third week of January 2013 and announce the test schedule by them only as any announcement at this stage will add more to the existing confusion in students.
